Job Purpose (What You’ll Do)


As an Automation Engineer at Olyra, you’ll design and implement scalable, logic-driven workflows that power AI Agent solutions for mid-market and enterprise clients. You’ll work with tools like n8n, Power Automate, and Python to automate data movement, API calls, approvals, alerts, and more—transforming manual business processes into intelligent, responsive systems. Your work will directly support the deployment of AI agents by ensuring that integrations, triggers, and logic layers execute flawlessly across systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automation workflows using n8n, Power Automate, and/or custom scripts
  • Integrate third-party platforms (CRMs, ERPs, internal tools) via REST APIs, webhooks, and data mapping
  • Collaborate with AI Agent Developers to orchestrate process flows that support LLM-based agents
  • Translate business rules and decision logic into structured automation logic with proper error handling
  • Create reusable automation components and templates for rapid client delivery
  • Participate in solution design with project managers and architects, offering automation-first approaches
  • Troubleshoot automation issues, perform data validation, and optimize process performance
  • Document automations clearly for use by delivery teams, clients, and future maintainers

Must Have

  • 2–4 years of experience building business automation workflows or integrations in low-code or scripting environments
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON structures, and modern integration patterns
  • Proficiency with at least one automation platform such as n8n, Power Automate, Zapier, or Make
  • Comfortable with Python or JavaScript for light scripting and custom logic blocks
  • Solid understanding of how data flows between systems and how to debug complex, multi-step workflows
  • Ability to collaborate remotely across cross-functional teams and manage multiple automation tasks concurrently
  • Valid work permit for the country you will work from

Nice to have

  • Experience working in BPA, RPA, or intelligent automation consulting environments
  • Familiarity with LLM workflows and integrating AI decision points into automations
  • Experience using MCP (Model Context Protocol), Bonita, or BPMN-based tools
  • Previous work automating processes within CRMs, ERPs, or document management systems
  • Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus for supporting Latin American clients
